Detroit Tigers playoff schedule: Dates, times, TV networks in the 2024 MLB postseason

The Detroit Tigers are currently fighting for a place in the 2024 MLB American League Playoffs and will host the Chicago White Sox on Sunday in the regular season finale at Comerica Park in Detroit (live updates).

The Tigers clinched a playoff spot on Friday to break a nine-season losing streak, but still have a chance at a seeding: a win and they're the No. 5 seed, which advances to the wild-card round of the Best- of three series against the Baltimore Orioles. The number 1 seed New York Yankees await the winner in the ALDS.

If the Tigers lose and the Kansas City Royals defeat the Atlanta Braves, the Tigers would drop to No. 6 and face the Houston Astros. The No. 2 seed Cleveland Guardians await the winner on this side of the bracket.
