MT. OLIVET, Ky. (WXIX) – A dismembered body and apparently cooked body parts were found in a northern Kentucky home after police officers said they were called to the scene.

After hours of investigation, Kentucky State Police announced Thursday that 32-year-old Torilena May Fields was arrested in connection with the crime.

According to Kentucky State Police, a bloodied Fields was removed from the Brierly Ridge home after she refused to come out.

Officers from KSP Post 6 said they received a call about a deceased woman on Brierly Ridge in Robertson County around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The call came from a man who said he had come to the home to do work for the property owner, KSP wrote in its citation.

The man told officers he had been at the property the day before and had seen the victim and Fields.

“On (October 8), (the witness) stated that Torilena cast a spell on her and was confrontational,” the police wrote in the statement.

The man told officers he knocked on the door of the home, but no one answered.

He went looking for the property owner and made a grisly discovery.

After noticing drag marks in the grass, the man followed them and was led to a dismembered body behind the house, the KSP statement said.

According to KSP, all arms, legs and head were removed from the victim's body.

According to the citation, officers found “multiple body parts and organs” in a folded mattress next to the body.

Officers wrote that they made another grim discovery inside the home.

They apparently found cooked human body parts in a still warm pot in the kitchen oven, KSP wrote in the statement.

The identity of the deceased has not been released.

Fields is being held at the Bourbon County Detention Center and faces multiple charges, including obstructing government operations, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.

She is scheduled to appear in court on October 14.
