Dodgers fans delay NLDS game after throwing things at Padres players

Sunday's playoff game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres got pretty heated – and not just between the players – as LA fans also got in on the action, causing the game to be temporarily halted became.

It was all lost in the bottom of the seventh inning…as LA fell 4-1 to San Diego in Game 2 of the NLDS. Just before the start of the frame, Padres left the fielder Jurickson Profar started scolding fans after they threw a baseball back at him after he threw it into the stands.

Profar was understandably hot…and led to his manager Mike Schildt and his teammates came out to try to calm him down.

It wasn't just Profar who drew the ire of Dodger fans…as their star utility player Fernando Tatis Jr. While he was out in right field, objects were thrown his way, causing him to mock fans and wipe fake tears from his face.

After a monster game (he went 3-for-4 with two home runs), Tatís said He never felt like he was in danger, adding that the club was built for a tough environment like the one at Dodger Stadium.

Manny Machado I was also in the middle of the game… taking part in a shouting match Jack Flaherty after the Dodgers' starting pitcher hit the third baseman in the sixth inning.

The Padres only increased their lead, winning the ball game 10-2 and even tying the series at a game apiece.
