PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Steelers are making quarterback decisions between Justin Fields and Russell Wilson week to week. But now one of their former starters – and long-time backup – Mason Rudolph will get a chance to shine.

The Steelers' former third-round pick filled in for the Tennessee Titans in Week 4 after starter Will Levis was sidelined with a shoulder injury. Rudolph finished the game with nine completions on 18 attempts for 85 yards, but helped the Titans to their first win of the season by defeating the Miami Dolphins 31-12.

The Tennessee running backs found the end zone there, with Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears scoring on the play. Outside of those two touchdowns, kicker Nick Folk made five of five field goals of 53 yards.

After the game, head coach Brian Callahan said that if Levis was healthy, he would be the team's starter. But with Levis struggling through the first three games of the season and throwing an interception early in Week 4 before his injury, Tennessee could weather this injury much like Pittsburgh did with Wilson.

Rudolph is 8-4-1 as a starter in the NFL, all coming to Pittsburgh. That includes a 3-0 run at the end of last season, when he passed Kenny Pickett and Mitch Trubisky and led the Steelers to the postseason, where he struggled with and came close to beating the Buffalo Bills.
