According to CNN, Brooks had previously denied his accuser's allegations, although his representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment on her lawsuit.

The filing accuses Brooks of repeatedly exposing his genitals to Roe; regularly changed his clothes in front of her; talk to her about sex and his sexual fantasies; and sending her sexually explicit text messages.

In one alleged incident in 2019, Roe claims she was at Brooks' home for work when he came out of the shower naked, “grabbed her hands and forced them on his genitals” while saying vulgar things to her.

In another alleged incident in May of that year, Roe claims Brooks raped her in a hotel room during a business trip to Los Angeles, where the musician was recording a Grammy tribute performance.

According to the lawsuit, the two traveled to LA together on his private plane.

“There were usually others on Brooks' private jet, but this time Ms. Roe and Brooks were the only two passengers,” the complaint states, alleging that Brooks also “booked a one-bedroom hotel suite.”

Upon entering the suite, Roe claimed that the singer-songwriter “showed up in the bedroom doorway completely naked,” which made her feel “trapped.”

After the alleged rape, Roe claims Brooks groped her and continued to tell her about his sexual fantasies, which included “repeated comments” about “having a threesome” with his wife, Trisha Yearwood, whom he married in 2005.

The complaint states that Roe has worked for Brooks since 2017, but was first hired to do hair and makeup for Yearwood, 60, in 1999.

According to CNN, an anonymous celebrity plaintiff — whom the outlet identified as Brooks — previously tried to stop Roe from making her allegations public; He denied the claims in a previous complaint he filed as “John Doe.”

As Doe, Brooks claimed in his lawsuit that Roe's attorney sent him a “confidential” demand Letter alleging sexual misconduct after he denied her request for “employment and medical benefits.”

“The defendant’s allegations are not true,” he insisted in his lawsuit. “The defendant, however, recognizes the significant, irreparable harm that such false allegations would cause to the plaintiff’s well-deserved reputation as a decent and caring human being, along with the inevitable harm to his family and the irreparable harm to his career and livelihood.” This is what would happen if she followed through on her threat to “publicly file” her fabricated lawsuit.

Roe's lawyers – Douglas H. Wigdor, Jeanne M. Christensen and Hayley Baker – told CNN that Brooks' “efforts to silence (her) client by filing a preemptive lawsuit in Mississippi are nothing more than an act of desperation and of attempted intimidation.” ”

“We are confident that Brooks will be held accountable for his actions,” the attorneys continued. “We applaud our client’s courage in moving forward with her complaint against Garth Brooks. “The complaint filed today shows that sexual predators exist not only in corporate America, in Hollywood, and in the rap and rock and roll industries, but also in the world of country music.”
