Jason Kelce announced he will face the Chiefs Kingdom on Monday night in Kansas City.

The Philadelphia Eagles legend, who retired from the NFL earlier this year, will cover his brother Travis' Chiefs game for the first time since moving into the ESPN broadcast booth.

And just like he did at his Philadelphia homecoming at the station last month, the retired center intends to start the Monday Night Countdown with a bang.

Kelce took to social media just hours before his scheduled broadcast to reveal that he would be arriving in Kansas City early.

He asked online team Chiefs Kingdom for recommendations when he revealed his plans to appear in the Arrowhead tailgate scene.

“I went to the Kansas City tailgate scene before the game today,” he posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“I'll probably hit lots C and D. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I need to hit, or a tailgate shaman who can show me the basics this afternoon?”

Last month, Kelce entertained crowds with his hilarious antics when he returned to Philadelphia – as host – for his former team's Week 2 game against the Atlanta Falcons.

He made the most of his status as an ex-player when he was seen throwing beer to fans.

In another moment, he could be seen dancing excitedly on stage in an all-green tracksuit – leaving some fans wondering whether or not he would be suitable for live TV.

Although fans loved his exuberant performance, Kelce later gave the impression that he was drunk while going about his ESPN duties.

During an episode of their podcast “New Heights,” he told his brother Travis that despite drinking about 100 beers, he hasn't had a single one. However, Jason realized how difficult it is to resist temptation.

Kelce was just as vocal, if not more so, watching his tight end brother during last season's playoff run.

Kelce traveled to Buffalo with his wife Kylie to cheer on the Chiefs in their playoff game against the Buffalo Bills in January and met Travis' girlfriend Taylor Swift for the first time before the game.

Despite his wife Kylie's warnings to be on his best behavior when meeting Taylor for the first time, Jason decided to take his shirt off in the VIP suite at Highmark Stadium.

After Travis' first touchdown of the game, Jason was filmed screaming into the night shirtless and holding a can of beer in the 20 degree weather. His wife Kylie could be seen looking on in the background, stunned as the celebrations broke out in the suite, while mother Donna pointed at Jason, who was going wild.

He was then sensationally filmed jumping out of the box window and climbing into the stands to celebrate with the thousands of fans in the stadium. He drank the rest of his beer before climbing back through the window in extraordinary scenes.

Kylie reportedly forwarded a message to Jason through Patrick Mahomes' father telling him to “get his ass back in the box.”

Kelce arrived in Kansas City on Saturday to attend Travis' Kelce Car Jam for the Chiefs star's 35th birthday with mom Donna and dad Ed.
