Video transcript

At one point I really realized how tough this outside wide receiver situation is when I saw Matt Collins blow a route on third down and then immediately the Bills punt the ball and you know who the shooter is, that one tried it? tackle the punt returner?

It's Matt Collins Collins, dude, they just threw the ball on third down where Keyon Coleman is right now as an NFL player they're just throwing out as an outside receiver and like they're just a jump ball, dude, that's them, they're just kind of deadlocked from the outside receiver position right now.

They don't get a lot of separation and yeah, the first three weeks of the season when you play like the Cardinals and we know the Miami Dolphins are a bad team when you play against those groups.

Yeah, sure you can, you can go ahead and take on bad defenses and things like that because I think this is a well-constructed offense with one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

But then when you go against two pretty good defenses with good players in the secondary.

Even if the Ravens don't live up to their standards, they still have good cornerbacks there.

You'll just get beaten up here, like you did in this case.

I mean Jo Josh Allen has a stat line in this game that every time I look at it I just feel like the API or the data provider is like I want to keep updating it because he completed nine passes for 30 or excuse me For me, nine out of 30 passes in this game are like, this, this, this feels like a typo, this feels like a rookie year.

Josh Allen.

That's exactly where they are from an outside receiver perspective, and yes, Khalil Shakir is a good player.

I really like Khalil Shakir, but your passing attack can't go completely haywire if Khalil Shakir just misses another game when they play against good teams.

I think that will be a problem.

They can, they certainly can compete against bad teams.

Jacksonville and week three.

Yes you can, you can destroy Jacksonville with some receivers who can't get consistent separation.

That's okay.

But again and again, as if the schedule wasn't crazy.

They have the Jets next week.

The Titans are a pretty good defense, then things get easier before a Week 11 game against Kansas City.

So I just feel like the experience with Josh Allen is going to be bumpier than we're used to from a fantasy quarterback perspective.

I'm, uh, I mean, I'm not, I'm not the salary cap guy, but there's a pretty good veteran outside receiver available on the trade market right now.

I'll just throw this out there.

He would look pretty good with Buffalo.

My first thought as I watched the Jets offense this morning was that this was not a Devante Adams unit.

This is not a unit that takes Devante Adams away from salvation.

I watch Buffalo.

I think, yeah, you let submissive Adams in here and we might cook like everyone's going to hell.

Some players seem like they can't open.

We used Submissive Adams here, but obviously it sounds like he only wants to play with quarterbacks he's played with before.
