While her hair color was undeniably a showstopper, she kept her outfit a little more understated, opting for a black floor-length dress with puffed sleeves — and for a little more flair (she is Lady Gaga, after all) fishnet stockings that peeked through as she walked the red carpet went. Her makeup was also simple and classic: elegant winged eyeliner and soft pink lipstick and blush.

This isn't the first time Gaga has sported red hair ahead of the highly anticipated event joker Consequence. Last week, she debuted another daring look at the film's UK premiere: a burgundy chin-length bob paired with choppy micro bangs that added a playful touch.

Her avant-garde makeup was another homage to her messy character, Harley Quinn: It included smudged, turquoise eyeshadow and a glittery, teardrop-like design under her right eye.

Although we've been seeing a lot of Gaga (and her unique style) lately, the “Bad Romance” singer tried to stay out of the spotlight while preparing for the role. After a brief social media break last year, she shared an update with her followers about “experiencing my creativity in a very special and private way since last summer.”

“I can say for the first time in many years that my love of making art, music, fashion and supporting the community has never been more fulfilling,” she wrote on Instagram in June 2023. “Maybe I don't share as much of myself” being online as I have in the past, but I hope you know that this time for myself has been extremely healing and invigorating for my heart, my mind, my body and my creativity was – to create something within myself and to live a personal life that is just for me.”
