Speaking of new releases: Nick Rhodes says: “When we published ours “Danse Macabre” Last year's project grew out of a spontaneous decision to put together a record that celebrated the madness and joy of Halloween. In doing so, we opened an unexpected box of curiosity and creativity that led us to reinterpret some of our older songs, record covers of some of our favorites, and write several new pieces. This year the inspiration was somehow still there, and I liked the idea of expanding the collection because we could… Why not add some of the songs that we had originally considered, now that we had the luxury of a little more to have time? This thought led to another new song, a cover of ELO classic “Evil woman”and a remake of “New Moon on Monday”. The “Danse Macabre De Luxe” The vinyl box set also includes several additional tracks that make it even more special. This somehow feels like justice for vinyl collectors!”
