No. 21 Texas A&M Football (4-1, 2-0 SEC) hosts No. 9 Missouri (4-0, 1-0) on Saturday at Kyle Field.

After a three-week break, starting quarterback Conner Weigman is officially back at center for the Aggies. Before kickoff, coach Elko told SEC Nation that Weigman was the man against Missouri.

“He feels great. We are ready to start,” said Elko.

Weigman has looked good so far, leading the Aggies to 17 points in just over a quarter.

It's a clash of talented teams looking for their fifth win of the season and to prove their legitimacy in a tough SEC. With the expanded playoffs, this matchup could play a big role if one of these programs ends with just two or three losses.

Texas A&M vs. Missouri score updates

Everything that could have gone right for the Aggies did in the first half. After building a 17-0 lead, the Aggies managed a timely third down conversion to extend an 11-play, 83-yard drive, capping the drive with a one-yard Le'Veon Moss touchdown to extend their lead to 24-0.

You couldn't have asked for a better start to the day for the Aggies. Their defense made timely stops and their offense ran smoothly from the start. After an eight-play, 65-yard drive, running back Amari Daniels added his second touchdown of the afternoon with another 1-yard run, extending A&M's lead to 17-0.

After a forced three-and-out by the A&M defense, Weigman and the offense strung together a seven-play, 46-yard drive capped by a 44-yard field goal by kicker Randy Bond to increase their lead 10 expand.

Conner Weigman's first possession after a three-week absence was a success. The quarterback was on time and played with good rhythm, and the running game followed suit with good execution of their own. The eight-play, 60-yard drive was capped by Amari Daniels, who scored the game's first score from one yard out to make it 7-0.

After missing the last three games, the Week 1 starter is back under center. Marcel Reed is the backup after a 3-0 run, including a win over rival Arkansas.
