Tyler Huntley entered the 2020 NFL Draft, the same one in which the Dolphins took Tua Tagovailoa fifth overall. When he wasn't selected, he signed as a free agent with the Baltimore Ravens the same day the draft ended.

After spending most of his rookie season on the practice squad, Huntley joined the active roster on Dec. 2 after starting QB Lamar Jackson was placed on the COVID list. He played his first game on December 20, late in the Ravens' stunning win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tyler Huntley Pro Bowl: How did Ravens backup QB make it to the Pro Bowl?

Tyler Huntley has nine career starts and eight career touchdown passes. How did he make it to the Pro Bowl after the 2022 season?

Huntley became the starter in Week 13 after Lamar Jackson injured his knee and went 3-2 in the next four games, helping the Ravens clinch a playoff spot. He was okay in those games, going 75 of 112 for 658 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions while running for 137 yards and another score. In the Ravens' playoff game at the Cincinnati Bengals, Huntley was 17 of 29 for 226 yards and two touchdowns with one pick. He also fumbled a QB sneak, leading to a game-tying 98-yard touchdown return.

After Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen opted out of the Pro Bowl, Huntley was surprisingly named his replacement. He ranked 48th in the NFL in passing yards and touchdowns, finishing behind QBs like Teddy Bridgewater, Bailey Zappe and Gardner Minshew, who appeared in fewer games.
