Former first lady Melania Trump has provided an update on how she and Donald's child Barron are doing during his first semester at New York University.

“He’s doing great,” Melania said during an appearance on Fox News The five on Tuesday. “He loves his classes and professors. He's fine. He aspires and enjoys being back in New York City.”

Barron, 18, began classes at NYU's Stern School of Business in September.

He may be enjoying his time at NYU so far, but some of the faculty there are less than positive about his famous father.

In fact, one of Barron's first visits to campus was to the office of the business school's interim dean, JP Eggers, who was among 20 Stern educators who signed an open letter in 2020 warning that a Trump presidency was a “threat “represents that would harm corporate America.

The letter accused Trump of being someone who “denigrates science, peddles lies, incites violence, attempts to delegitimize the press, politicizes everything from the Justice Department to the CDC to the Postal Service, and seeks to undermine the integrity of the American people.” Undermining elections.”

Barron, who mostly went to school while his better-known older siblings served as Trump officials and campaign surrogates, has made headlines in recent months for a variety of reasons.

For example, Melania's recently published memoir describes the decoration of Barron's bedroom in the White House. She also describes being “horrified by the cruelty” when it comes to malicious jokes accusing her son of autism.

In an interview on Fox News On Monday's broadcast, Donald described how his son found out about the failed assassination attempt in Pennsylvania.

“Barron was playing tennis with his friends and someone came over, ran over and said, 'Your dad got shot.' “He was shot,” he said. “Barron – and Barron really likes his father. And he came in: 'Mom, mom, mom, what happened?' And then they saw me stand up, and then they saw the fist pumping.”

Barron was also reportedly the driving force behind getting his father to appear for an interview with social media influencer Adin Ross.

Even Barron's college search became something of a novelty, and Donald gradually coaxed new information out of him.

“It's in New York, and he was always a very good student,” the former president hinted in August. “He’s smart, so we’ll let you know soon.”
