Green Bay Packers (-3) over LOS ANGELES RAMS

The Rams are exhausted due to injuries, with star receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua out, and are a miracle event against the 49ers without being winless.

The Packers, in turn, welcomed back quarterback Jordan Love last week.

Love struggled at first, but found his rhythm in the second half after a tough home loss against a strong Vikings defense.

The Rams are allowing 28.8 ppg, second-worst in the league.

They average 18.8 ppg and have exceeded the 21-point mark once.

Make the Packers field goal against a Rams team too banged up to keep up against a potent offense.

Love should have no problem picking apart a defense that is allowing the second-most yards per game and has registered just seven sacks.

New Orleans Saints (+5.5) over KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

The Chiefs are 4-0 with wins by seven, one, five and seven points.

They just lost star receiver Rashee Rice, possibly for the season; Travis Kelce is no longer an alpha receiver; and their running game relies on Kareem Hunt, who wasn't good enough to make a roster out of camp.

Oh, and Patrick Mahomes looks pretty ordinary this season.

Betting on the NFL?

The Saints rank sixth in the NFL with 17.5 points per game and are coming off a game in which they didn't allow an offensive touchdown in a tough road loss to the Falcons.

The Chiefs tend to play close games, and 5.5 seems like a lot of points to score against a quarterback who is fairly familiar with their scheme, Derek Carr.

Last week: 1-1. Commanders (W), Steelers (L)
Season: 2-6.
