Based on one of their song titles, Oasis have decided to say “Akquiesce” to their North American fans who want to join their reunion tour.

The British rock band have announced an expansion of their 2025 tour, which now includes dates in the USA.

“America. Oasis is coming,” reads a post on the band's X account. “You have one last chance to prove that you loved us all along.”

According to their official website, the North American leg of the tour begins August 24th at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Ontario before heading to Chicago, Illinois, East Rutherford, New Jersey, Los Angeles, California and Mexico City, Mexico.

“Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing model will not be applied to the upcoming sale of tickets for Oasis concerts in North America,” said a statement from the band's management posted on Instgagram.

“There is widespread agreement that dynamic pricing remains a useful tool to combat ticket advertising and keep prices below market and therefore more affordable for a significant proportion of fans,” the statement continued. “But when unprecedented ticket demand (where the entire tour could be sold many times over by the time tickets go on sale) is combined with technology that cannot meet that demand, it loses effectiveness and can result in an unacceptable experience for fans lead.” .”

The statement also said that this was done to “hopefully avoid a repeat of the issues fans in the UK and Ireland have recently experienced.”

The excitement of Oasis reuniting 15 years after brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher split led to concertgoers fighting for tickets and the result was quite a mess.

The situation was so bad that the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) opened an investigation into Ticketmaster for a possible “breach of consumer protection laws”.

CNN has reached out to Ticketmaster representatives for comment.

Pre-sale registration for the North American tour is currently open until Tuesday at 8 a.m. ET on Oasis' website, while general ticket sales begin Friday at 12 p.m. local time.

The band plans to tour outside of Europe and North America.
