The books Sally Rooney read while writing Intermezzo Philadelphia Phillies and Mike Schmidt remember MLB hit king Pete Rose

It's a bad week to be a Ticketmaster customer service representative, but a great week to be a North American Oasis fan. The band has just announced their dates highly anticipated reunion tour with a policy that will stifle any buying competition and calm worries about their chances: “America. Oasis is coming. You have one last chance to prove that you've loved us all along.” Oh man – those Ticketmaster reps are really going to need a magic wall when everything comes crashing down.

On the other hand, the brothers could also be intentionally trying to level the platform once and for all. The Curse of the would-be concert goers already everywhere royally screwed up the band's first European sale, initiate an investigation in the British government, forcing the brothers to add additional dates with a new “invitation-only voting” strategy to ease frustrations.

Unfortunately for North American fans, the competition likely won't be any easier than across the pond. Not only have the band made this a Hunger Games-style situation with their statement, but there are also thousands of ticketless British fans who are likely to be in attendance. (How much might a plane ticket cost to see two famous brothers?) Chaos on stage?) Furthermore, the North American leg can hardly be described as a complete tour; It's more of a quick trip, with only five stadiums represented in Canada, the US and Mexico.

Don't do any funny business when the sale starts this Friday, October 4th at 12pm local time. On one FAQ pagethe band writes that ticket sales are limited to four seats per household per show; If you're lucky, you'll be able to attend all five dates, but if you have more than three brothers yourself, at least one of them will be very unlucky (or simply won't be able to sit with you). Additionally, all ticket details would somehow be “forensically examined and any purchases found to have been made unlawfully or in violation of the Terms and Conditions would be canceled.” Just log in PresaleDon't be too greedy and may the odds always be in your favor.

The dates for the 2025 tour are as follows:

August 24: Toronto, ON – Rogers Stadium

August 28: Chicago, IL – Soldier Field

August 31: East Rutherford, NJ – MetLife Stadium

September 6: Los Angeles, California – Rose Bowl Stadium

September 12: Mexico City, MX – Estadio GNP Seguros
