Make that two concerts at Boone Pickens Stadium in one weekend.

Due to overwhelming demand, Oklahoma State announced Thursday that it will host another concert on Friday, April 11. On Tuesday, it was announced that “The Boys From Oklahoma” will host a “one-day” concert at Boone Pickens Stadium on Saturday, April 12. This will benefit OSU's Name, Image and Likeness Fund.

OSU said in its news release that more than 104,000 applications were submitted in the first 24 hours for fans to register for presales, prompting the second show.

The second announced show will still feature Cross Canadian Ragweed, Turnpike Troubadours, Jason Boland & The Stragglers and Stoney LaRue, but The Great Divide will be replaced by Mike McClure Band that evening. Every artist has roots in Stillwater.

It will be the first time since 2006 and a major renovation that a concert will be held at OSU's football stadium. Lewis Field hosted a few concerts before the stadium was renamed in 2003. Boone Pickens Stadium was officially rededicated in 2009, so this would be the first concert there in its current state.

Advance ticket sales begin on Monday at 10 a.m. and general public ticket sales begin on October 11 at 10 a.m. Anyone who wants to attend must get a pre-sale password here by Saturday, while tickets continue to be sold to the general public on the OSU website. Fans who have already submitted a presale request do not need to register again for Friday's show.
