On its first road trip in its first season in the Big Ten, the No. 11 Oregon volleyball team earned its 11th-place finishTh Back-to-back wins against Ohio State in Columbus on Thursday before being followed by a loss to No. 3 Penn State on Friday to close out the week.

The Ducks (11-2, 3-1 Big Ten) defeated the Buckeyes in straight sets (25-23, 25-21, 25-14) before a tough trip to State College ended in a victory for the Nittany Lions (25- 19, 25-19, 25-17) Friday evening.

The loss to Penn State is Oregon's second loss of the season, the previous loss coming against No. 1 Pitt in the Ducks' season opener.

The Ducks hit just .075 as a team to Penn State's .284 and committed 25 attack errors in the loss. Star junior outside hitter Mimi Colyer had just two kills in 23 total attacks and hit -.130. Michelle Ohwobete led Oregon with 10 kills in the match.

Colyer had a team-high 16 kills in one game against the Buckeyes on Thursday night, with Noemie Glover contributing eight and Onye Ofoegbu adding another seven. Cristin Cline continued her strong play with 37 assists.

Who will the Oregon volleyball team play next?

The Ducks get a short week, playing No. 21 USC on Wednesday at Matthew Knight Arena before a home game against No. 25 Washington on Sunday.
