Hometown: Sand Springs, OK
Residents: Claremore, OK

Since the age of 19, Jake has been raising children with his wife Ashleigh. He met Ashleigh when he was just 18 and it was love at first sight when a mutual friend introduced her to him. Within a year they were married and a month after the wedding they found out they were expecting a baby boy. By the time Jake was 24, he was already the father of four children. Since he works full-time as a worship leader to support his family, it's a wonder Jake has found time to work on his craft. Music has been an important part of his life since childhood. When Jake was six years old, his father introduced him to Elvis and he soon fell in love with country music. Growing up, Jake often performed at talent shows with the guitar his father gave him when he was 9 years old. Jake currently performs every weekend at bars and restaurants throughout Oklahoma. He schedules his performances in the evenings, after his children have gone to sleep, and when possible, the whole family comes to watch him do what he loves.

Music and sports were her comfort during these parades. After settling in Austin, Torre focused on sports and secured a college education through athletics. Torre wanted to study musical theater in college, but ultimately couldn't do both after accepting a volleyball scholarship. After graduating, Torre was determined to pursue music. She immersed herself in the Austin music scene and began writing songs and performing. In 2022, Torre moved to LA to further her music career and took a job in the entertainment industry for stability and community. Now she's ready for “The Voice” and the next step to becoming a full-time artist.

ChrisDeo (2-CHAIR TURN)
Age: 16
Hometown: Queens, NY
Resident: Queens, NY

ChrisDeo is a 16-year-old self-taught, multi-instrumentalist and first-generation American. Her mother was born in Trinidad and Tobago and her father is from Guyana. After her parents divorced when she was young, ChrisDeo was raised by her resilient mother in the Queens projects. Despite the challenges of her surroundings, her home was a haven of peace and comfort. Both ChrisDeo and her older sister Aaliah find solace in the music that surrounds the walls of their home. ChrisDeo's passion for music really blossomed in 2016 when her mother enrolled her and her sister in the NYCHA Youth Choir. There, ChrisDeo decided to teach herself piano chords, which opened the door to a world of instruments for her. She recently completed a program for low-income high school students at the NYU Clive Davis Institute, where she learned to produce and record her own music. That's why ChrisDeo set up a makeshift home studio where she records covers and writes her songs. This high school graduate can often be seen busking against the backdrop of the city.
