Prince Harry stopped outside a celebrity-loved tattoo shop in New York City on Wednesday – and stayed there for over an hour.

Photos obtained exclusively by Page Six show the Duke of Sussex, 40, arriving in a black SUV at East Side Ink on Manhattan's Lower East Side.

The shop is no stranger to celebrities, as the “Avengers” – including Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans and Jeremy Renner – all previously received the appropriate ink there from tattoo artist Joshua Lord.

During Harry's visit on Wednesday he was accompanied by his own powerful group. He was flanked by members of his security team wearing dark green pants and gray polo shirts.

However, one of the people was wearing a suit and we were told that the man is believed to work for the New York Police Department and was assigned as part of the Prince's command for his trip to New York.

As further evidence that there was a police presence, video obtained by Page Six shows that alongside Harry's black vehicle, two NYPD cars accompanied him from the front and rear.

According to a source, Harry stayed at the store from around 1 p.m. until just over 2 p.m

Since the British royal family and his wife Meghan Markle had an almost “disastrous” paparazzi chase in the Big Apple in May 2023, Harry has received additional security personnel in New York.

Last month, the Post was told he was heading into the concrete jungle to “advance a number of his patronages and philanthropic initiatives,” including those with African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award and Travalyst.

However, Harry clearly found some time to enjoy himself during his visit to the East Coast. The royal also appeared on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon,” where he visited a haunted house with the host.

It appears that the segment was recorded on the same day that Harry visited the tattoo shop, as in the “Tonight Show” clips he was wearing the same forest green button-up shirt and dark jeans as he was in the footage we obtained .

The dad-of-two may have been on an adrenaline rush before being spooked by Jimmy Fallon.

Page Six reached out to its representatives and East Side Ink for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

However, a source tells us exclusively that Harry wasn't actually getting a tattoo during his visit to the famous shop on Wednesday as he was only there for a publicity stunt he's filming for an upcoming project.

However, it is not against British monarchs' protocol to get tattoos of royals, as several members of the famous family – both past and present – have received their own permanent designs.

For example, Princess Eugenie, Harry's first cousin, has a small circular tattoo just behind her left ear.

It's unclear if Harry has ever gotten a real tattoo before, but it wouldn't be a complete surprise since the prince has never shied away from rebellious methods.

The “Spare” author – who was open about drug use as a teenager and has been known to throw a party or two – even recently joked about his unruly behavior.

During a conversation with the Clinton Foundation in New York City on Tuesday, Harry joked: “Some say kids will be kids, and that may well be true. “Kids could get in trouble – I know a thing or two about that.”
