Jane Wickline meanwhile caused a stir Saturday Night Live Season 50 debut.

During a “Weekend Update” segment in October 2024, Wickline brought out her keyboard and singing voice to perform a song called “Party” about Generation Z's nightlife.

When Colin Jost When asked if she was a “big party-goer,” Wickline replied, “Of course. Everyone should be.” Jost joked that he “didn’t think” that was her “charisma.”

“Well, if you stay out late, that’s extra time. And I'm big, so I'll die pretty young, like a big dog,” she explained. “And if I stay out every night, I prolong my life. I get three, even four years more.”

Wickline graduated from Oberlin College in 2021 before making her way to the NBC variety show as a lead actress three years later.

Her roles include impersonating an LA Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw. “Most of my feedback from people who have seen it has been very muted, but I'm just going to keep doing it because I think it's so funny,” Wickline said at the time. “I just did a cast of it – I call it a Clayton Kershaw cast, but it's just a version of Clayton Kershaw that I made up. … I literally googled baseball players and he had a name that I liked saying.”
