'Shazam!' Star Zachary Levi Supports Trump, Says His Move Could Be 'Career Suicide'

“Shazam!” star Zachary Levi officially endorsed former President Trump at an event in Michigan on Saturday, saying it could mean “career suicide.”

Levi, who has openly supported former independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s 2024 bid, announced the endorsement ahead of a panel discussion he moderated with Kennedy and former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (Hawaii).

Levi praised the two officials for inspiring his own support for Trump by portraying the 2024 race as a choice between two options.

“I stand with Bobby, and I stand with Tulsi, and I stand with everyone else who stands with President Trump,” the Hollywood actor said.

“Because I believe that of the two options we have — and we only have two — Donald Trump, President Trump, is the man who can get us there,” Levi continued. “And he's going to get us there because he's going to have the backing and the support and the wisdom and the knowledge and the fight that's there in Robert Kennedy Jr. and former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.”

Levi, who plays the title role in the superhero films, recognized that he was among a small group of Hollywood actors who have endorsed the Republican candidate.

“When I came out and said I supported President Trump through my support of Tulsi and Bobby, 90 percent of the messages I received were really really nice and supportive, and I really appreciated that,” Levi said at the event End of the panel discussion.

“But I have to say,” Levi added, “as you can probably imagine, in my industry, Hollywood is a very, very liberal town, and that could very well mean career suicide.”
