Sturgill Simpson will host a benefit concert to support disaster relief efforts in North Carolina. The live music event is scheduled for Monday, October 21st at the Koka Booth Amphitheater in Cary, NC. The show takes place after Hurricane Helene struck the region, causing massive devastation that led to an urgent need to allocate resources to rebuild.

According to the event page, all funds raised through the sale of benefit concert tickets will be donated to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund to support urgent recovery efforts with the help of United Way of North Carolina, which has stepped in as the fund's financial agent to address unmet needs through reimbursements to nonprofit organizations to cover those in contact with disaster victims.

The newly added live performance is in keeping with Simpson's Why Not? Tour itinerary. Having already signed up to perform at the Koka Booth Amphitheater on October 22nd, the artist will now stay two consecutive nights before continuing his tour across the southern US and finally up the East Coast through the end of November – in support of him Johnny Blue Skies debut, Passage Du Desirwhich arrived in July.

Tickets for the benefit show are available for pre-sale on site from Thursday, October 10th at 10:00 a.m. and on general pre-sale from Friday, October 11th at 10:00 a.m
