Taylor Swift isn't on her birthday but will be at the Chiefs game

Taylor Swift wasn't at the Kelce Car Jam, Travis Kelce's event on his birthday (Saturday, Oct. 5) — but she's expected to be at his next game, the Chiefs player says.

“She won’t be here. I know she’s coming to the game,” the tight end responded Saturday when asked about his girlfriend Page sixCoverage of the event.

Swift, who was last seen with Kelce over the weekend of the US Open (September 8), has not been seen at the Kansas City Chiefs' last two away games. The Chiefs are scheduled to play a home game against the New Orleans Saints on Monday (October 7) at Arrowhead Stadium.

People Kelce was reportedly joined by parents Donna and Ed, his brother Jason and his sister-in-law Kylie at the Kelce Car Jam. Guests included Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany.

Kelce Car Jam is an annual car show that helps raise money for underserved youth in the Kansas City and Cleveland areas in conjunction with 87 and Running, Travis' nonprofit organization.

In a recent episode of New heightsTravis, the podcast he co-hosts with his brother Jason, described the day: “This year is the second year we've put on a car show, basically a block party event, showcasing some of the best automobiles in town presented by Fuel.” House, a fun car club out here. And then I guess there are a few others in line. It will be fun. I should have my old school '70 Chevelle revved up and ready to rock and roll. But if not, I’ll bring one of the other cars I have.”

Swift recently thanked Kelce in her acceptance speech for Video of the Year at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, which took place on September 11th.

“This video seems very sad when you watch it, but it was actually the most fun video,” she said of “Fortnight.” “I would always hear someone cheering, like, 'Whoo!' from across the studio – that one person was my friend Travis. Everything this man touches turns into happiness, fun and magic, so I would like to thank him for adding this to our shoot.”

She will soon be back for the final leg of the Eras Tour with dates in Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto and Vancouver. The final performance of the career-spanning show will take place on December 8th. The I Can Do It With a Broken Heart star has remained tight-lipped about everything she has in store for the rest of 2024 and early 2025.
