Taylor Swift misses Travis Kelce's games due to his work schedule

Taylor Swift was not present at her NFL star boyfriend's last two games. However, we're told her absence isn't a sign that she's stuck with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

Swift was famously impossible to miss at Kelce's games last season.

That's why there was quite a stir when she was absent from the team's game against the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta last weekend, and then again when they played the Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles this weekend.

But a source tells us that Swift has been busy rehearsing for the reboot of her Eras tour, which kicks off again on October 18 in Miami.

We've heard it's also harder for the “Shake It Off” singer to attend games that aren't at the Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium, where they play home games.

“If she goes somewhere that isn’t Arrowhead, there are safety concerns,” a source says.

“She has worked with Arrowhead so many times that they feel comfortable and at ease. When you go to different stadiums, you have to send a team in advance.”

Swift's security concerns have increased since she canceled performances in Vienna after law enforcement learned of plans for an ISIS terrorist attack.

The no-show comes amid ongoing criticism of her boyfriend Travis Kelce's on-field performance this season – with some analysts attributing it to his busy personal life. But we hear that both are thick-skinned.

“They’re both tough people,” the source says.

But they also admitted that their absence gave the celebrity couple a little “break” from the endless onslaught of haters.

The Chiefs have a winning streak of 4-0.
