FORWARD WORTH – TCU beach volleyball hosted the annual TCU Fall Challenge on Thursday and Friday. The Horned Frogs faced familiar opponents from the Lone Star State, HCU, TAMU-CC and Texas on the clay courts in a modified pool play format. Each day consisted of eight pools with four different pairings. Each Horned Frogs pair and three visiting teams played two games per day.

Three TCU pairings went 4-0 in the challenge: Deniela Konstantinova/Anete NamikeHallie Corrine Frist/Jordyn MacTavish And Anhelina Khmil/Kaitlyn Bradley.

FIRST DAY
Five Frog pairings took first place in each of their pools on Thursday.

Tania Moreno and Sofia Izuzquiza – Group A (2:0)

Kaitlyn Bradley And Anhelina Khmil – Group D (4:0)

Deniela Konstantinova and Anete Namike – Pool E (4:0)

Maria González and Stacy Reeves – Pool G (3-1)

Hallie Corinne Frist And Jordyn MacTavish – Group H (4-0)

  • Vs. Cortez/Ranney of TAMU-CC: 21-9, 21-13

SECOND DAY
Based on Thursday's results, Friday's pools were created. Seven Frogs took first place in their pool, highlighted by the unbeaten records of Khmil/Bradley, Konstantinova/Namike and Corinne Frist/MacTavish.
