Sofronio grew up in the Philippines with practically nothing, including a bed and no plumbing. Despite his situation, he describes his upbringing as a happy one because music was always there to bring joy to his family. Sofronio fondly remembers singing with his father and considers him his coach. Sofronio never imagined he would be as passionate about music as his friends and family, so he pursued a career in dentistry instead. While studying for his dental exams in the Philippines, he decided to give music a chance. Shortly after this decision, Sofronio experienced tragedy when his father suddenly passed away. Now Sofronio has a new motivation to make his late father proud and has moved to America to pursue music more seriously. Since moving, he has competed at the famed Apollo Theater, his cover of “Nothing's Going to Change My Love For You” has racked up more than a million views on TikTok, and a performance of “That's What Friends Are For” has more on Facebook received more than 9.5 million views. Sofronio is ready to take the stage of “The Voice”!

Kiara Vega (3-CHAIR TURN)

Resident: Tampa, FL

Kiara is an aspiring musician driven by the support of her large, boisterous Puerto Rican family. Growing up with six siblings, including her identical twin sister, life was a symphony of chaos and love. Music is the heartbeat of the family, with rapping uncles, singing aunts and their maestro grandfather Efrain, a singer, guitarist and songwriter. Although born in Boston, Kiara draws musical inspiration from her Puerto Rican heritage and often sings in both English and Spanish. Kiara recently completed her cosmetology degree and hopes to use her beauty skills to help others. While music is her priority, she hopes to one day open a spa with her twin sister, Kayshla. Kiara takes care of hair and nails while Kayshla takes care of skin care. Kiara is lucky to have such a close-knit family to support her in her music career journey.
