Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins suffered an injury late in the first quarter against the Buffalo Bills in Week 5. The star wide receiver left the game and went to the locker room.

Collins is off to an excellent start to the 2024 season, and his absence will be a significant loss for the Texans' high-powered offense.

Here's the latest on the Texans wideout's status:

The Texans have announced that Collins will miss the remainder of the game against Buffalo. He finished his day with 2 catches for 78 yards and a touchdown.

Nico Collins left the game with a hamstring injury at the end of the first quarter with Houston leading 14-3.

Collins grabbed a 67-yard touchdown catch from CJ Stroud and appeared to slowly fade away on the way to the end zone.

The Texans have two talented wideouts in the lineup behind Collins. Veteran Stefon Diggs and second-year man Tank Dell will be asked to step up. Robert Woods should be the next man off the bench for the Texans wide receivers.

  • 32 receptions (second most)
  • 567 yards (1st in NFL)
