The 48th Annual Red River Arts Festival hosts over 75 artists, 4 stages and food for 9 days

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – One of Shreveport's biggest festivals is about to kick off with a packed schedule of performances and a massive artist lane.

From September 29 to October 6, the Red River Arts Festival celebrates the arts for the 48th time at Festival Plaza, 101 Crockett Street, in downtown Shreveport. Over 75 artists, 4 music and performing arts stages, and tons of great food provide nine days of family fun for everyone with special events.

“Revel is about celebrating our community and the arts together! We will be full of performances, visual and culinary arts, as well as art experiences and activities for all ages,” reads Red River Revel’s Facebook event page.

A Spotify playlist was even created so attendees could get to know the artists.

On October 4th, Revel in The Beats: Silent Disco & Revel Rave will take place with an official DJ line-up.

Additionally, Red River Revel has partnered with the Hispanic Heritage Association of Northwest Louisiana to bring together both Revel and Día de Muertos on October 5th at Red River Revel with special activities: Age Contest, Catrina Costume Contest, Art Exhibits , and cultural performances.

• Free entry Monday – Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m
• $5.00 admission Monday – Friday from 5:00 p.m. – closed and all day Saturday and Sunday
• Free daily for children under 12 when accompanied by an adult
• Free daily for military members and first responders with valid identification
• 9-Day Holiday Pass: $15
