The best offers for Amazon Prime Day in October 2024

If you've had your eye on new components for your PC, a new monitor, or perhaps a shiny new gaming laptop, now is the time to start researching and checking prices ahead of the fall sales events. Amazon's Big Deals Day sales event will begin soon, taking place again from October 8th to 9th, 2024. In conjunction with Amazon's event, several major technology retailers are also hosting their own events to try and grab your hard-earned cash.

Although Prime Day 2 (Big Deals Day) starts on the 8th and 9th, you must be an existing Amazon Prime member or have an Amazon Prime membership to take advantage of all possible offers. You can sign up for Prime for $14.99 per month. If you want to save a few dollars, you can sign up for a year for $139 – saving you $40.99 over the course of a year.

Several other technology retailers, including Newegg, Best Buy and Walmart, are also jumping on the sales bandwagon and hosting their own events. Newegg has its Techtober sales event, while Best Buy is having a 48-hour flash sale and Walmart has its Walmart Deals, so there are plenty of ways to hopefully snag a bargain.

Amazon Big Deals Day is the name of Amazon's sales event in October. Often referred to as Prime Day 2, Big Deals Day marks the second time this sales event has taken place – a return to last year. During the event (October 8-9, 2024), Amazon Prime members can view and purchase discounted products from the Big Deals Day sales event.

Do I have to be an Amazon Prime member?

Yes, you need an active Amazon Prime membership to take advantage of Big Deals Day discounts. You can sign up for Amazon Prime for $14.99 per month. As a new customer, you can even test Prime free for 30 days.

What will be on sale during Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days 2024?
