The latest Coaches Poll Top 25 rankings follow Week 6 of college football and, as expected, there have definitely been some changes.

There were surprises everywhere, like Alabama's loss to Vanderbilt, USC and Michigan's loss in the Big Ten, and Tennessee's loss at Arkansas. Good luck finding out who is the best!

Let's take a look at the latest Coaches Poll top 25 rankings after Week 6.

Texas had the week off to rest and avoid the chaos of week six. Quinn Ewers could very well be back in Week 7 when the Longhorns take on Oklahoma.

If for some reason he can't go, Arch Manning will be there again. In any case, Texas wants to remain undefeated and secure the title of the best team in college football.

Ohio State dominated again and it just looks too easy for them. You can give the Buckeyes a good beat early, but they will deliver the Knockout Bowl.

Ohio State defeated Iowa 35-7 at home to remain undefeated. Oregon is next, but Ryan Day's crew looks to be in a class of its own.

Oregon and Ohio State will play for the top spot in the Big Ten next weekend. The Ducks did what the Buckeyes did this weekend: They knocked off a Big Ten opponent.

Of course, this may not be the only time Oregon and Ohio State face off. In a few months it could very well be the Big Ten Championship Game.

Georgia has the opposite feel of Alabama this week. Because the Bulldogs won. After losing to the Crimson Tide on the road, they bounced back with a win over Auburn at home.

Carson Beck scored two touchdowns and Trevor Etienne scored two more on the ground. It was a fairly balanced approach with a 31-13 win, and positive movement in the coaches' poll followed.

Penn State held firm and controlled the win over UCLA. The Bruins barely scored a goal to make it 27:11.

Otherwise, the Nittany Lions remained undefeated, with Kaytron Allen leading the way on the ground with 78 yards and a score. Drew Allar had a solid performance, throwing for 237 yards and a touchdown while also running for one.

The Hurricanes avoided disaster again. After last week's tough game against Virginia Tech, Miami erased a four-point deficit and won on the road 39:38.

Thanks to Cam Ward leading the attack, Miami scored four touchdowns on four possessions to close out the game. Of course, Francisco Mauigoa grabbed the game-winning interception with five seconds left. “Canes are still undefeated.”

Alabama was on top of the world with a win over Georgia last week and the opposite is true on Sunday. A loss to Vanderbilt is brutal, especially after last week's high.

Of course, the Crimson Tide can easily recover and still compete for the SEC title and the top spot in the College Football Playoff. However, they need to regroup quickly as they are inferior in the coaches' poll.

Ole Miss returned to winning ways with an SEC win over South Carolina. It was much needed after last week's surprising loss to Kentucky.

Now we wait to see if Lane Kiffin's crew can stay consistent. It doesn't get any easier as Ole Miss plays LSU and Oklahoma in two of the next three weeks. Good thing there is a bye week on October 19th.

Tennessee also fell victim to surprise and crashed on the way to Arkansas. It wasn't pretty for the Volunteers' powerful attack.

Nico Iamaleava was 16 of 28 for 156 yards in the 19-14 loss. However, Dylan Sampson came into action and ran 22 times for 140 yards and the two touchdowns.

10. LSU (+2)

After the 42-10 win over South Alabama, LSU had a week off. At 4-1, Brian Kelly and Co. can definitely climb back up the SEC rankings with a win over Ole Miss next week.

We saw the rise of Texas A&M after game #1. The same scenario could well play out for the Tigers after next weekend. But for now back in the top 10 of the coaches poll.
