The deadline to register for the upcoming general election on Tuesday, November 5th is today, October 7th, at 4pm

The election includes numerous local races as well as the U.S. presidential race, and voters have until 4 p.m. to register electronically or stamp their paper registrations.

To register to vote in Kentucky or update an existing registration, go to vrsws.sos.ky.gov/ovrweb. Once you register electronically, your county clerk will verify your registration and then send you a confirmation with a registration card that includes your precinct and polling place information.

Alternatively, you can download a paper registration application (here) and mail it to your county clerk or register in person at a local election office. Mailing address, location and contact information for clerks can be found at elect.ky.gov/About-Us/Pages/County-Clerks.aspx. Questions regarding local county mailing addresses should be directed to your local county clerk's office (see below).
