The fashion on the red carpet at Folie A Deux

Lady Gaga never fails to impress when it comes to fashion and her attire on the red carpet for the various premieres of joker: Slide for two lived up to the high expectations set by the pop star actor at previous events.

The film – part jukebox musical, part crime drama – is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster hit jokerwhich earned Phoenix an Oscar for Best Actor.

joker: Slide for two hits theaters on Friday. Here's a look at Lady Gaga's various fashions from the film's premieres at the Venice International Film Festival as well as in London and Los Angeles.

Venice (September 4th)

joker: Slide for two made its world premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival in Venice, Italy, where Lady Gaga immediately caught the attention of festival-goers and photographers.

Lady Gaga's headdress attracted as much attention as her black ball gown.

Lady Gaga posed on the Venice red carpet joker: Slide for two Director Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix.

Phillips and Phoenix, of course, teamed up the first time around joker Film in 2019. In addition to the film'S Best Actor Award for Phoenix, joker also received an Oscar for Best Original Score Hildur Guðnadottir.

The film's 11 total nominations included a Best Picture award and a Best Director award for Phillips.

Before the red carpet event, Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix arrived at the Venice Film Festival by boat, a tradition for the main attendees whose films are screened at the festival.

London (September 25)

Lady Gaga chose a red dress for the London premiere of joker: Folie à Deux, which took place at Cineworld Leicester Square.

Looking at Lady Gaga's red carpets and photo ops at the three events, it seemed as if she was adapting her style to the colors commonly associated with the character Harely Quinn in the DC comics and film: red and black.

Lady Gaga's fiancé Michael Polansky was present at the London premiere.

Earlier in the day, Lady Gaga attended the London photocall for joker: Slide for two with Joaquin Phoenix. Gaga topped off her photocall attire with black platform shoes.

Los Angeles (September 30)

The US premiere for joker: Slide for two took place on Monday at the TCL Chinese Theater in Los Angeles, where Lady Gaga again dressed in black for her premiere.

Unlike the film's previous premieres, the LA event featured a black carpet instead of a red one.

Lady Gaga was joined at the event in Los Angeles by director Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix.
