While the Brewers' attendance was down slightly this year, the number of fans actually showing up at the park, which is not reflected in the official attendance count, was highGetty Images

According to Curt Hogg of the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger said the 2024 regular season was one of the most “lucrative” the ballclub has ever had in terms of revenue. Schlesinger: “The mix of cards is different. We're also paying attention to revenue and attendance, and our revenue numbers are as good as they've ever been, even though we don't have the same attendance we had before the pandemic.” Schlesinger also pointed out that the team's TV ratings are among the best in baseball “Top three” belong. Hogg noted that the Brewers drew 2,537,202 fans this season, a “slight decrease” from 2,551,347 in 2023. Those numbers are “both lower than just before the pandemic.” But the number of fans actually showing up at the park, which isn't reflected in the official attendance count, is “high for the Brewers.” Schlesinger said: “We have lower no-show rates, which is good. The people who buy the tickets have a greater investment and are participating.” With the Brewers back in the postseason, revenue “will only continue to increase.” Team owner Mark Attanasio said that while there likely won't be a “rollback in payroll” next season, what the Brewers “could get from a media deal” could be affected because of their contract with Diamond Sports Group season expires at the end of 2024 (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, Sept. 30).
