The Savannah Bananas are coming to Charlotte: What you should know

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – The Savannah Bananas are coming to Charlotte.

As part of their 2025 world tour, “Banana Ball” will be played at Bank of America Stadium on June 7th. The stadium is one of only three football stadiums chosen for the tour.

Details regarding the conversion of Bank of America Stadium into a baseball stadium will be announced closer to the event date.

Who are the Savannah Bananas?

In case you didn't know, the Bananas are a baseball team based in Savannah, Georgia, but the games are… a little different.

“Banana Ball,” which they say is “the most entertaining game in baseball,” is a mix of the sport, choreographed dances, unique uniforms, goal celebrations, singing, breakdancing instructors and much more.

“We are thrilled that Savannah Bananas has chosen Charlotte as one of their locations this year!” said Danny Morrison, Executive Director of CSF. “We are witnessing a once-in-a-lifetime show and can’t wait for the Bananas and their fans to experience the Queen City.”
