After swapping his cleats for a microphone, Sunday's game between the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals took the spotlight on former star quarterback Tom Brady, who was in the middle of his Week 5 broadcast assignment.

When the Arizona Cardinals defeated the San Francisco 49ers 24-23, Brady's verbal enthusiasm captivated viewers and caused the Internet to realize that he is human after all.

During the game, in which both teams reached 2-3 on the season, the excitement on the Internet revolved around Tom Brady, who sat in the locker room with Kevin Burkhardt to analyze the game and often gave free rein to his enthusiasm

Brady recently ended his 23-year NFL career and became the highest-paid broadcaster in history after signing a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion received mixed reviews in his broadcast debut in Week 1, but has since won fans over with his enthusiasm and authenticity.

Kyler Murray and the Cardinals travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers, while Brock Purdy and the 49ers are at home against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fox has not yet released its Week 6 schedule.
