During the Kansas At Monday night's City Chiefs game, former Cowboys quarterback and ESPN commentator Troy Aikman incorrectly described Taylor Swift as “the Mrs.” in reference to her relationship with Travis Kelce.

After the camera switched to Swift following a Travis play in the second quarter, Aikman said: “The woman likes itas she celebrated with Travis' father Ed during the broadcast. His colleague Joe Buck later corrected Aikman, saying, “Do you know they're not married?”

“Oh, I know,” Aikman replied. “I’m sure I’ll get in trouble if I say that.”

“My daughters warned me several times today: 'Dad, I know you think you're funny. Don’t joke,” Buck added.

At the start of the broadcast and before the game, Travis' brother Jason came to ESPN to do some pregame analysis. The camera suddenly showed Swift's arrival and Jason reacted sweetly when he saw his brother's girlfriend on the screen.

“Hey, look at this now. She has just the right piece…that looks good,” Jason said of Swift's red and brown mini dress and Vivienne Westwood handbag.

Swift's appearance at a football game came just days after Travis' birthday over the weekend. Monday's match was their first game back at Arrowhead Stadium since early September.

On trend

Swift was captured in the VIP suite with Mecole Hardman Jr.'s fiancée, Chariah Gordon, as the two posed for photos and became closer after the game. The Chiefs defeated the New Orleans Saints 26 to 13 and are one of two undefeated teams through the first five games of the NFL season.

Swift is scheduled to return for the final show of the Eras Tour on October 18 and will perform in Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto and Vancouver through mid-December.
