Troy Aikman Suggests Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Tied the Knot During NFL Broadcast: 'The Wife Liked It'

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman was in the broadcast booth Monday night when the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the New Orleans Saints.

In the second quarter, nine-time Pro Bowler Travis Kelce grabbed one of nine total catches on the night. Aikman, the “Monday Night Football” analyst, praised Kelce for the reception.

But when the TV cameras cut to a shot of Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, a regular at Chiefs games, Aikman offered a little additional information about the couple. “The woman likes it,” he said.

Aikman's longtime on-air partner Joe Buck attempted to dispel suggestions that the football player and pop star were somehow keeping their marriage a secret.

“You know they're not married?” Buck Aikman asked.

Aikman responded that he was aware of her status and acknowledged that the comment could end up getting him in trouble. “Oh, I know,” Aikman told him. “I’m sure I’ll get in trouble if I say that.”

Swift's presence in a luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium also caught the attention of former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick during his final appearance on the “ManningCast.”

“Great first half for Kelce, too big, too big,” the six-time Super Bowl champion coach joked as Peyton Manning and his brother Eli laughed.

Swift attended the game with her father, Scott Swift. Meanwhile, Travis' brother and Monday Night Football writer Jason Kelce was on hand.

The Chiefs' 26-13 victory over the Saints improved the defending champions' record to 5-0 this season. The Chiefs have a bye for Week 6 before facing the San Francisco 49ers in a Super Bowl rematch on October 20th.
