Tyler Badie of the Denver Broncos collapses on the sideline during the Jets game

A scary moment occurred during the Denver Broncos' game against the New York Jets on Sunday…at the running back Tyler Badie collapsed on the sideline and had to be stretchered off the field.

The incident occurred shortly after Badie was hit in the back by the Jets' linebacker Quincy Williams …which forced a fumble that the home team recovered.

It seemed like a routine goal…considering Badie returned to the sidelines. However, after the commercial break, he was lying on his back and being attended to by medical staff.

The broadcast said Badie moved while he was on the ground. He was loaded onto the cart and taken away from the field – no further information is available on the 24-year-old's condition.

Badie was a sixth-round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens in the 2022 NFL Draft. The Broncos nabbed him while he was a member of the Ravens' practice squad… and has been a member of the franchise ever since.

So far this season, Badie has caught 11 carries for 86 yards. Before suffering the injury on Sunday, he caught the ball twice, resulting in negative yardage.
