Tyreek Hill expressed his commitment to the Miami Dolphins when asked about trade rumors surrounding the standout wide receiver on Wednesday, telling reporters, “We have a beautiful situation here.”

The eight-time Pro Bowler had just four catches for 23 yards and no touchdowns in Monday's loss to the Tennessee Titans as the Dolphins continued to struggle without injured star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Hill also wrote a cryptic post on Wednesday on But Hill emphasized that he was happy in Miami.

“You know what, man, I’m just focused on right here, right now,” Hill said. “We have a great team here and I want to be a part of it.”

“We have a great situation here,” he continued. “My family loves it, I enjoy it, the weather is great, the fans are great. So we have a beautiful situation here, man. Obviously my parents always taught me to control the things that are controllable. I can only control so much.

“That being said, we all know the NFL is a business. Whatever happens, it happens, you know what I'm saying. I would like to be here in the future. I love being here. I love the boys.”

Hill was the league's leading receiver in receiving yards (1,799) and receiving touchdowns (13) last season. His performance has slowed due to Tagovailoa's absence. Hill has 17 catches for 217 yards and a touchdown in four games. He has passed for 200 yards in a game three times in a career that began with the Kansas City Chiefs — the team he helped win a Super Bowl before joining the Dolphins in 2022.

There may not be an immediate increase in production for Hill either. Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Tuesday the team plans to use backup QB Tyler Huntley again for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots (1-3). Huntley started against the Titans with injured backup Skylar Thompson and struggled in the loss, completing 14 of 22 passes for 96 yards.
