Quick recap: Jayhawks fall to ASU after late touchdown drives Cyclones show maturity in 5-0 start

UCF Football traveled to Gainesville to make a statement against the struggling Florida Gators. After the first half, it seems to be exactly what Billy Napier needed.

The Knights looked like they did in their tough home loss to Colorado a week ago, trailing 24-3 at halftime in the Swamp. UF outscored its cross-state rivals 251-119, and the UCF defense seemed unable to slow down either quarterback Graham Mertz or running back Montrell Johnson.

Even worse is how Guz Malzahn's normally dynamic offense looked. Quarterback KJ Jefferson lit up the Gators last season with Arkansas, but he was 6 of 13 for 90 yards in the first half on Saturday. Star running back RJ Harvey was under pressure for the second straight week as he completed eight carries for just 23 yards.

UCF fans entered the game as 1-point favorites and their fans expected a good performance against a UF team that had looked iffy all year. However, that hasn't happened yet, leaving Knights fans feeling sorry for Jefferson and demanding Malzahn's job. It's gotten so bad that one desperate fan is even calling for Scott Frost's return:
