As if historic storm surges and hurricane-force winds weren't enough, Fort Myers residents had to deal with even crazier weather from Milton when a tornado was reported to have struck a neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.

According to multiple reports, a tornado was spotted moving through Fort Myers in some of the early bands of Hurricane Milton.

FOX Weather's Brandy Campbell said she spotted potential tornado damage on Daniels Parkway.

The road was lined with large, downed trees and debris strewn along the road.

The tornado seen in Fort Myers was just one of many seen during Wednesday's tornado outbreak sparked by Hurricane Milton.

Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall along Florida's central west coast late Wednesday and early Thursday morning.
