Celine Dion has proven that it is an incredible sport.

Dion, 56, surprised NFL fans by appearing in a pre-recorded video at the start of the NBC broadcast Football on Sunday evenings on Sunday, October 6th. But what really shocked viewers was the moment two crew members poured Gatorade on the “My Heart Will Go On” singer.

In the introductory video posted about the NFL on NBC's YouTube channel after it aired Sunday night, Dion was seen wearing a Super Bowl jersey commemorating the rivalry between the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers spoke into the camera. The teams playing each other on Sunday night were the focus of an impassioned speech from Dion.

“I think what I like most about this game is its ability to connect us with who we were and prove that our strongest memories and our most enduring loves can stay with us forever.” You know, What am I talking about, right?” Dion told the camera while her 1996 track “It's All Coming Back to Me Now” played in the background. “Sometimes, some nights, it all just comes back. Dion continued, “Like tonight, evoking the kind of magic they once made. The Cowboys and the Steelers, a timeless Sunday night classic.” She then had the video's producers help her recreate the classic coaching moment when she was drenched with a cooler of Gatorade, allowing the team to pour the sports drink over her head let.

In December 2022, Dion was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome. Due to the diagnosis, she had to cancel several appearances and shared the shocking news with her legion of fans via Instagram.

“Hello everyone. I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I miss you all so much and can't wait to get on stage and talk to you in person. Like you Know, I've always been an open book and wasn't ready to say anything before, but now I'm ready,” an emotional Dion said in an Instagram video on December 8 of that year. “I've been dealing with health issues for a long time struggling and I found it really difficult to face those challenges and talk about everything I went through.”
