Sun 92-82 Lynx (Oct 6, 2024) Game Recap The Mets star whispered something in his teammates' ears before a key hit against the Phillies

play

It's hardly Dan Marino versus Tom Brady today when the Miami Dolphins play the New England Patriots.

Both teams are 1-3 and have lost three games. The Dolphins will be without their starting quarterback as Tua Tagovailoa recovers from a concussion. Last week, coach Mike McDaniel turned to Tyler Huntley, who responded with a 96-yard pass Monday night in a 31-12 loss to the Titans. The vaunted offense led by Tyreek Hill and De'Von Achane has faltered, scoring just 25 points in the losing streak. Could Odell Beckham bring new energy?

The Patriots have other problems under first-year coach Jerod Mayo. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett has yet to give way to rookie Drake Maye, but the Pats haven't scored more than 20 points this season. Meanwhile, running back Rhamondre Stevenson has 267 yards and two touchdowns, but he also fumbled in all four games.

Dolphins 12, Patriots 9: I was prepared not to pick the Dolphins again until they finally won a game and would prove myself wrong. But the Patriots are so poor that the Dolphins should win this epic battle even without their quarterback. -Hal Habib
