The iconic Las Vegas hotel and resort closed back in April and plans are to use part of the property to build a stadium for the Oakland A's when they move to Sin City.

It's truly the end of an era and Tropicana isn't the only iconic Vegas location that's finished now. The Mirage also closed last summer. However, the building is still standing. It is simply being renovated.

The Tropicana is now gone forever. Both towers landed on the ground at the push of a button. Any guy who says he doesn't enjoy watching things explode is probably lying.
