UCF Football gets a chance to beat Florida for the second time in four years tonight at The Swamp.

The Knights (3-1) are looking to bounce back from their 48-21 home loss to Colorado. Coach Gus Malzahn has the No. 2 offense in the Big 12, led by quarterback KJ Jefferson and running back RJ Harvey. Jefferson is familiar with the Gainesville crowd: He threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns, while last season with Arkansas he rushed for 92 yards and another touchdown in a win.

UF (2-2) is fighting to find its footing and maintain coach Billy Napier's job status. The Gators have moved to a two-quarterback system with Graham Mertz playing most series and rookie DJ Lagway interspersed. Florida is hoping for revenge after losing its last meeting with UCF in the 2021 Gasparilla Bowl.

UCF vs. Florida Predictions, Tips, Odds

Odds courtesy of BetMGM as of Friday, October 4th.

Florida 26, UCF 23: This may seem reactionary considering UCF underperformed against Colorado and Florida rose against struggling Mississippi State. But this is simply a game that the Gators – and Napier in particular – cannot lose if they want to achieve anything this season. -Chris Boyle
