Sailboats are an important part of the culture and lives of many Marylanders. The largest sailboat show in the world takes place every year in Annapolis in Anne Arundel County.

Visitors from all over the country and around the world come to Annapolis every year to enjoy the amazing sailboats and events surrounding the marina. This year's event will take place October 10-14 and will feature 155 boats, 16 of which will be exhibiting in the United States for the first time.

The Annapolis Sailboat Show began in 1970 and was the first sailboat show in the country to be held on water. Today it is home to the most comprehensive boat exhibitions in the industry.

This annual sailing festival features floating docks with sailboats from manufacturers around the world. Multihulls, monohulls, cruisers, racing boats, sailing dinghies and more. Show tents line the shoreline, stocked with the latest marine equipment and supplies, electronics, communications equipment, sailing, rigging, education, charter companies, clubs and much more.

The boat show offers boaters the opportunity to view and inspect almost every new model on the market. You'll be able to make side-by-side comparisons and talk to industry experts about everything related to buying and owning a boat.

Both experienced and novice sailboat enthusiasts can come to Annapolis to enjoy the various exhibits, history, and food at the local restaurants.
