The Kansas City Chiefs' 26-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints kept the reigning Super Bowl champions undefeated at 5-0 heading into the bye week.

Kansas City's offense was efficient throughout the game, with the only exception being an interception in the red zone by Patrick Mahomes when his pass deflected out of the hands of JuJu Smith-Schuster and into the arms of former Chiefs defenseman Khalen Saunders .

Kareem Hunt's return to Arrowhead Stadium and Kansas City's starting lineup was triumphant, as he scored the game's first touchdown and was a reliable option out of the backfield. Travis Kelce, Xavier Worthy and Smith-Schuster also contributed significantly to the Chiefs' recent victory.

Steve Spagnuolo's defense was stingy and stepped up when needed to close the game again in Week 5. Kansas City's defensive line, led by Chris Jones, generated a lot of pressure on Saints quarterback Derek Carr, and the Chiefs' secondary consistency kept New Orleans' receivers reigning.

Check out how some of Kansas City's stars fared in the Chiefs' win over the Saints:

This was a promising performance for Smith-Schuster following Rashee Rice's injury. He reminds the world that he is capable of playing this role. The veteran receiver finished the game with seven catches for 130 yards.

Taylor wasn't at his best for most of Monday's game and had several penalties against him that hurt Kansas City's first-half offense. The veteran right tackle continues to be highlighted by referees, particularly on false start violations.
