Mason Rudolph came into the game for the Tennessee Titans last night after Will Levis was injured and did Mason Rudolph things. He threw the ball 17 times, nine of which covered a distance of 85 yards. He didn't turn the ball over and was only sacked once. It's hard to see that and not believe that the Titans could have picked up another win or two if Rudolph had started all four games. I understand it.

However, the upper limit for Rudolph is limited. The Titans won't win a Super Bowl with him at quarterback. This is known. What is unknown is whether Levis could reach the point where the Titans could win a Super Bowl with him at quarterback. You'll have to see if Levis can reach its ceiling.

I have my doubts that Levis is anything other than what he showed this year – a quarterback with a lot of potential, but a guy who will constantly put the ball in danger. There's also the question of whether he has the mental ability to process things at the speed they require for a franchise quarterback.

They could put Rudolph in there and be something of a .500 team for the rest of the season. That would most likely result in them not making the playoffs and being picked in the middle of the draft and left in QB purgatory. If they play Levis, they can take a chance on him figuring some things out or having a high pick in the draft.
